How it works

From idea to channel post

1

Make your bot an administrator

Create a bot with @BotFather, enter its token in the dashboard and add it as a channel administrator with “Post Messages” permission. To edit posts not published by your bot, also grant “Edit Messages”.

2

Write a post

Choose a regular post or article. Bold, italics, spoilers, quotes, links, emojis, buttons and link previews are available in the toolbar, without manual markup. Click “Send to me” to check the post in Telegram before publishing.

3

Choose when and where

Publish now, on a specific date and time, or repeatedly—daily or on selected weekdays, with a start and end date. Choose your main channel plus other channels and groups where the bot is an administrator.

What’s included

Publishing tools in one place

Scheduled posting

Set a date and time, and the post publishes automatically. Scheduled posts sit alongside drafts and published posts on your channel page.

Recurring posts

Publish daily or on selected weekdays at the same time, with a start and end date.

Cross-posting

One post goes to several channels and groups where your bot is an administrator. If it fails in one destination, you receive an alert.

Telegram articles

Headings, lists, tables, quotes, collapsible sections, images and videos within the text, plus buttons. Publish an article through the bot without Telegram Premium.

Timed pinning and auto-deletion

Pin a post indefinitely or temporarily, for example during an offer. Delete after N hours or publish without sound.

Edit published posts

Edit text, media and buttons after publishing. Posts published manually in Telegram also open in the editor with their formatting.

Before and after

What changes in channel management

Manual publishing

  • Someone has to publish at exactly the right time, even on weekends.
  • The same post is copied into every channel and group.
  • Pinned posts have to be unpinned manually when an offer ends.
  • Tables and long instructions have to be put on a website.

With auto-posting

  • The post publishes automatically at your chosen time or on a recurring schedule.
  • One post reaches every selected channel and group.
  • Posts are unpinned or deleted on a timer.
  • Articles with tables and lists appear right in the channel.
The limits

What the bot can’t do

  • It can’t see views or reach, because Telegram doesn’t share them with bots. View these in Telegram itself.
  • It doesn’t inflate subscribers or views, read other people’s channels or log in as you. Your administrator bot performs every action.
  • Telegram only lets the bot delete a post during the first 48 hours, whether the bot or a person published it. After that, delete it in Telegram itself.
  • Publishing is available on Plus and Premium, not free Starter. AI in the editor is Premium only.
FAQs

Telegram publishing FAQs

How do I schedule a Telegram channel post?
Add your bot as a channel administrator, write a post under “Posts” and choose “Later” to set its date and time. It publishes automatically. Telegram itself supports scheduled messages; the bot adds recurring series, cross-posting, timed pinning and auto-deletion.
Can I publish to several channels at once?
Yes. Under “Where”, add other channels and groups where this bot is an administrator alongside your main channel. If publishing fails anywhere, you receive an alert.
Do articles require Telegram Premium?
No. Telegram’s own article editor requires Telegram Premium, but articles sent through a bot don’t. Use headings, lists, tables, quotes, collapsible sections, images and buttons.
Can I edit a published post?
Yes. Change text, media and buttons, or pin and delete it. Posts published manually in Telegram also open in the editor if your bot has “Edit Messages” permission. Telegram only lets the bot delete posts during the first 48 hours, regardless of who published them.
Can I see post views and reach?
No. Telegram doesn’t share channel views or reach with bots. Check these metrics in Telegram itself.
What does auto-posting cost?
Publishing is on Plus (19,99 €/month per bot) and Premium (34,99 €), not free Starter. AI in the post editor is Premium only. See pricing for details.
