Instagram publishing

Instagram scheduling: posts, Reels and stories

Upload photos or videos from your computer, write a caption and choose a time. The post publishes automatically: single posts, carousels with up to 10 photos and videos, Reels with custom covers and stories. The service then collects reach, views, saves and shares.

How it works

From upload to publication

1

Connect your account

Sign in through Instagram without sharing passwords or needing a Facebook page. Business and creator accounts are supported; stories require a business account.

2

Create your post

Open “Posts”, click “New post” and choose a format. Upload photos or videos, add a caption and hashtags, and optionally a first comment. For Reels, choose a cover, audio title and trial mode.

3

Choose a time

“Publish” sends immediately; “Schedule” uses the chosen date and time in your time zone. Files are prepared in advance, and publishing starts at the scheduled minute.

What’s included

Publishing in one dashboard

Scheduled posts

Set the date, time and time zone, then let the post publish automatically. Separate tabs show scheduled posts, drafts, published posts and those needing attention.

Carousels with up to 10 files

Mix photos and videos in one carousel. Instagram crops every slide to match the first, so its format determines the whole post.

Reels with custom covers

Use an uploaded image or video frame as the cover, name the original audio and choose whether to show the Reel in the feed. Videos can last from 3 seconds to 15 minutes.

Trial Reels

A trial Reel is shown to non-followers first. Share it with followers manually, or let Instagram do so automatically if it performs well.

First comment

Put hashtags, a link or more caption text in the first comment. Send it immediately after publishing or with a delay of up to 24 hours.

Post analytics

Reach, views, likes, comments, saves and shares. Metrics update every 10 minutes for the first three hours, then less often throughout the first week. Stories are tracked for the first day.

What changes in account management

Manual publishing

  • Someone must publish at exactly the right time, even on weekends or holidays.
  • Stories can’t be scheduled in the app, only posted immediately.
  • Hashtags are added to the first comment manually, right after publishing.
  • You have to check the post’s reach during its first hours yourself.

With scheduled publishing

  • The post publishes automatically at the scheduled minute.
  • Schedule stories just like posts and Reels.
  • The first comment is sent automatically, immediately or after your chosen delay.
  • Stats are collected automatically, every 10 minutes for the first three hours.
The limits

What the service can’t add

  • Instagram’s official API can’t add library music, link stickers or polls. Include audio, text and visual design in the file itself. For Reels, you can set the original audio’s title.
  • Location tags can’t be added through the service.
  • Carousels support up to 10 photos and videos through the official API, even if the app allows more slides.
  • Stories require a business account. Creator accounts can schedule posts, carousels and Reels.
  • Instagram limits daily API publications. The service checks that limit before publishing each post.
  • Publishing is available on Plus and Premium, not the free Starter plan.
FAQs

Instagram scheduling FAQs

How do I schedule an Instagram post?
Connect a professional account, open “Posts” and click “New post”. Upload a photo, write a caption and choose “Schedule”, then set the date and time. The Instagram app also schedules posts, carousels and Reels up to 75 days ahead. Our service adds scheduled stories, computer uploads, first comments and stats for each post.
Can I schedule stories?
Yes, with a business account. Upload one photo or a video up to 60 seconds, ideally 9:16. Stories have no caption: include text and design in the file. Add account tags in attachment settings. The official API can’t add link stickers, polls or Instagram library music.
What is a trial Reel?
A Reel shown to non-followers first. Initially, it doesn’t appear in followers’ feeds or your profile grid. Test an idea with a new audience before sharing it with your existing followers. Share it manually, or let Instagram do so automatically if it performs well. Choose trial mode in the Reel settings before publishing.
Can I publish from my computer?
Yes, everything works in your browser. Photos: JPG, PNG or WebP up to 16 MB. Videos: MP4 or MOV up to 300 MB. The service checks format, length and aspect ratio in advance so Instagram doesn’t reject the file at publication.
What account do I need?
Use a professional account, business or creator. Sign in through Instagram; no Facebook page is required. Stories need a business account. If your account already uses ETOCHATBOT for auto-replies, the dashboard asks you once to refresh the connection and grant publishing access.
Is this safe for my account?
Posts use Instagram’s official API. We never see or store your account password; you authorise through Instagram’s own window. The service checks the daily API publishing limit before each post.
What does it cost?
Publishing is on Plus (19,99 €/month per bot) and Premium (34,99 €), not free Starter. New users get a 3-day Premium trial. See pricing for details.
