Keywords and buttons
“Price”, “address” and “booking” each get their own reply. The same word under a post triggers a keyword automation, with a comment reply and a DM.
Replies to Stories
Replies or reactions to your story, and mentions in other people’s stories, are separate triggers. A story saying “Message ‘yes’” can collect enquiries automatically.
Conversation starters and menu
Up to four questions Instagram displays before the first message, plus a persistent menu in DMs with up to five items. Tapping one opens the conversation and starts its flow.
AI for other questions
The agent answers questions about prices, sizes and delivery from your price list and knowledge base. It replies only when flows don’t, avoiding two answers to one message. Unknown questions go to you.
Teamwork and human handoff
Several operators can use one account. Everyone sees who took the conversation. The bot hands over when a button is pressed or it can’t answer.

Can I message someone first or send a DM broadcast?
No. Instagram doesn’t allow anyone to initiate DM conversations. The bot responds when someone messages, taps a conversation starter or menu item, replies to a story or comments a keyword. You can reply within 24 hours of their last message. A permitted way to attract enquiries is a keyword under a post or Reel.
What account do I need?
A professional account: business or creator. You can switch a personal profile to professional in Instagram settings in a minute, for free.
Will it respond to story replies?
Yes. Story replies, reactions and mentions in other people’s stories are separate flow triggers, each with its own response.
How are auto-replies different from an AI agent?
