In brief
ETOCHATBOT is a business tool. It is not designed for use by minors and does not target them as an audience. Registration and use of the service are only available to people who are at least 18 years old.
1. Age requirements
- Only people who are at least 18 years old can register for the service.
- By accepting the Terms of service, the User confirms they are 18 or older.
- If the User is a sole proprietor or a legal entity representative, they also confirm they have the required authority.
2. Breach of the age requirement
If the Operator learns that an account is being used by a minor, the account is deleted without prior notice.
Parents or legal guardians who discover that a minor has registered with the service can request deletion at info@etochat.bot with "Underage user" in the subject line:
- Provide the email address of the minor's account.
- Confirm your status as a legal guardian (birth certificate or other documents).
- We'll delete the account and all related data within 5 business days.
3. End customers of Users
Because the Service is a tool for communicating with the User's customers, some of those customers may be minors. The User is responsible for complying with age-related and other legal restrictions toward their own customers, as the operator of their personal data (see the DPA).
If the User addresses minors (for example, an education startup), they must:
- Obtain the required legal guardian consent (for people under 14 — Article 28 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation; for people aged 14 to 18 — written parental consent where required by law).
- Not collect more personal data from minors than necessary.
- Not use the service for advertising aimed at minors in violation of Article 6 of the Federal Law "On Advertising".
4. Protecting children online
The Operator supports the requirements of Federal Law No. 436-FZ of December 29, 2010 "On Protecting Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development". The service displays an "18+" marker on marketing pages and clearly states age restrictions in its terms.
Any CSAM content (child sexual abuse material) is strictly forbidden in the Service. Such messages are removed immediately, and the Operator is required to report them to law enforcement.
